Monthly Ways to Donate

Sponsor a TEchnician Farm Visit

Suggested donation: $100 per farming family per month.

This monthly contribution will fund a technician’s visit to a farmer’s plot to assist them in improved farm design and optimization through agroecological techniques. In these visits, our technicians focus directly on the farmer to apply what our agronomist teaches in the monthly training.

Sponsor a Research Center Technician

Suggested donation: $250 per technician to facilitate a monthly training.

Technician duties include fruit and vegetable seedling propagation, land shaping, crop management, research trials and educational seminars each month. The money will be used to employ and train these technicians to enable research onsite to solve local agricultural problems, as well as to disseminate the knowledge to our partnering farmers that attend the trainings each month. Technicians are selected off of dependability, local knowledge and expertise.

Sponsor a Farmer Training

Suggested Donation: $500 per monthly meeting to hire technicians and support materials used in demonstrations.

Meetings include hosting local farmers for a demonstration and training seminar. Funds will be used to resource farmers with tools, equipment, seedlings and to hire the technicians to run the training. This continued donation will enable agricultural education, community development, farmer collaboration and networking, increased diversification and increased streams of revenue for partnering farmers.
